Anton Scaffolding Celebrates 10 Years of Building Success
This year marks a major milestone for Anton Scaffolding as the company celebrates 10 years in business. From iour humble beginnings in 2015 to a thriving operation based in Tamworth, the company has gone from strength to strength, and 2025 is all about celebrating that journey.
Documenting our history
To mark the occasion, we are releasing a series of ten videos, one each month until the end of 2025. The first video was released in March and features founder and managing director Tom Pawliw reflecting on how far the company has come.
“Reaching the milestone of ten years in business is a fantastic achievement for anybody,” Tom says in the video. “I am particularly proud. Did I ever feel we’d get that far? Probably not in the early days. I didn’t know where we would get to.”
Tom founded Anton Scaffolding after gaining years of experience on various projects across the Midlands. In 2014, he took a managerial role on a local job and realised it was time to take the leap and start something of his own. The company officially began trading in January 2015.
“I just saved up what I could, bought some material, bought our first pickup truck and managed to get in some work with some small builders. It really grew from there,” he explains.
Humble beginnings
From storing kit in a garage to operating from a prominent yard in Tamworth, the business has evolved significantly. The company now runs from the historic site of the former Fazeley Saw Mills, a well-known local landmark, which Anton Scaffolding took over in January 2024 following the retirement of the previous owners.
Today, Anton Scaffolding employs more than 25 staff, including a strong office team, and serves clients across the region. But the values that shaped the business in those early days have never changed.
“I truly believe the ethic hasn’t changed. We always put a good scaffold up. We always give a great service to our customers. It just built and built and built,” says Tom. “We continue to grow that same way and still deliver that same service with that same work ethic to this day — there’s just a lot more of us.”
The company’s striking yellow and blue branding also has personal roots. “That is actually because of Ukraine,” Tom explains. “My grandfather was Ukrainian. He came over to the UK during World War Two as a refugee, and it’s really to pay homage to him and my Ukrainian roots.”
As the video series continues throughout 2025, we will be sharing more memories, milestones and stories from the past decade. It’s a celebration not just of how far the company has come, but of the people and principles that have built our success — one scaffold at a time.
